WILDLIFE
Above water we often encounter marine mammals such as Bottlenose and the rarer Risso's dolphins, Harbour porpoises, Grey and Common seals.
"He's the best skipper I know for this sort of work"
Dr Peter Evans, Head of Research for Sea Watch Foundation
Our boat can get you close to vast rafts of Manx shearwaters, breeding colonies of Sandwich, Arctic and Common terns, alongside cliffs inhabited by Guillemots and Razorbills, and by the nesting caves of Choughs. If you have a particular bird you want to look for, we can tailor-make the trip to specifically look for them.
Underwater the flora and fauna are just as diverse, from tiny hydroids, sponges and anemones to larger crustaceans and fish. Grey seals will often come and play when we dive or snorkel near their haul-outs and colonies.
