COASTAL TRIPS

North Wales has much stunningly beautiful scenery, and seeing its coasts from the sea is an entirely new experience. Our Rib will give you access to quiet, unvisited bays and inlets, isolated islands and white sandy beaches.

Waterline's Rib is licenced to take 9 passengers.

Trearddur Bay, Anglesey

The Skerries Lighthouse

Middle Mouse, North Anglesey
BIRD WATCHING

Manx Shearwater, Bardsey Island

We can give you sea access to all those areas that you always wanted to see, including:

  • islands
  • sea cliffs
  • birds out at sea

The quiet four-stroke engine minimises disturbance, and allows close observation.

Gannet, North Anglesey

Fulmar, North Anglesey
MARINE MAMMALS

CETACEANS:
North Wales has a large population of both resident and migratory cetaceans. Sightings have been made on a regular basis of Harbour Porpoises, Bottlenose and Risso Dolphins, Basking Sharks and very occasionally Pilot, Minke and Killer whales. There has even been a sighting of a Leatherback Turtle! The best areas for seeing such creatures are in Cardigan Bay, around Bardsey Island and the Skerries.

SEALS:
The coastline of North Wales offers the opportunity to see Seals in their natural environment. They haul out at low tide to sun themselves on remote and inaccessible rocks and small sheltered bays where they can be visited and be watched from Waterline's quiet RIB.
